Bridget's full story.

Three decades in Auburn, a record of service, and why she's running to get our city back to work.

Bridget Powers has called Auburn home for over 30 years — as a neighbor, as your mayor, and as a community leader who shows up.

Roots in Auburn.

Bridget moved to Auburn over three decades ago and never looked back. From downtown storefronts to the foothill trails, she's spent thirty years putting down roots and giving back.

Those years weren't spent on the sidelines. As a small-business advocate and civic volunteer, Bridget learned how the city actually works — and where it falls short for the families who live here.

A record of service.

Bridget served three terms as Mayor of Auburn and 13 years as an Auburn city council member and four years as an Auburn Planning Commission member, where she focused on the basics done well: safe neighborhoods, a healthy downtown, and a budget that respects taxpayers.

  • Former 3-term Mayor of Auburn
  • A passionate advocate for economic growth and community service, Bridget has served with numerous organizations, including the Placer County Economic Development Board, Auburn Economic Development Commission, Auburn Airport Business Park Association, Auburn Rotary Club, and several nonprofit and healthcare advisory boards.
  • Community leadership recognition - Bridget's contributions have been recognized with numerous honors, including the Trainor Robertson Humanitarian of the Year Award, Rotarian of the Year, Rotary International Distinguished Service Award, two Paul Harris Awards, and recognition as Auburn Journal's Best Female Elected Official.
"She knows what it takes to get things done — and she's ready to get back to work for the people of Auburn."

Why I'm running.

Auburn deserves a council member who listens first and delivers second.

This campaign is built the Auburn way — neighbor to neighbor. Whether you can donate, host an event, take a yard sign, or just stay in the loop, there's a place for you in it.
